Happy Spring! Although the specter of Covid and the war in Ukraine feel like a dark cloud hanging over our heads, signs of hope are everywhere. For most part, art is a force for good and a source of hope, as the many art initiatives to support the humanitarian relief effort show.
I welcome the spring with a renewed sense of urgency and the trepidation of what’s to come. A lot is happening this spring in New York, from the long-awaited Whitney Biennial, to the first edition of New York Art Week to the Frieze art fair; the art world is once again going full steam ahead. And with it comes many opportunities to discover new artists, explore and learn. I am also thrilled to be launching my first series of art tours, offering exclusive access to galleries, artists studios and art fairs.
What I love about art is that it challenges us to keep an open mind; it is a gateway into other people’s experience and aesthetic. I hope this newsletter will pique your interest and you will enjoy reading it. If you would like to inquire about available artworks by specific artists, sign up for one of my art tours or just talk about art, contact me. Let’s talk!
Warmly,
Estelle
